About our Band Program
Music Compound is a performance-based music school dedicated to inspiring, educating, and collaborating. Our band program invites musicians of all ages to play together in a structured environment. Each band is led by a band leader who oversees weekly rehearsals, song selection, and team-building activities to foster collaboration.

Musicians will enhance their confidence, stage presence, and overall musicianship through regular performances—one to two times per month—at Music Compound and various local venues. Rehearsals last 55 minutes and include solo performances, growth evaluations, and the learning of new songs. The final 10 minutes of each rehearsal will be recorded and shared with band members.
Band members are responsible for practicing at home, learning songs during private lessons, and bringing necessary supplies each week. They will receive a planner to track weekly tasks and listening exercises while exploring a variety of musical genres through videos and discussions provided by band leaders.
We expect all members to demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to the band. Consistent practice and participation are essential; members who do not meet expectations will receive three warnings before removal. Bullying will not be tolerated, as we strive to create an encouraging atmosphere for everyone involved.
Additionally, our program includes music production and video projects.
