Cody Vanslyke

Cody first got a guitar in junior high. While teaching himself, he played in several alternatives, metal, and industrial bands.

Gathering inspiration from his idol, Trent Reznor, Cody began to learn more instruments and how to record and mix music. He received formal training in the fields of classical guitar performance and recording technology at GRCC in Michigan. He then used his knowledge of music theory and ability to play multiple instruments to pursue teaching.

When he isn’t teaching music to others, he also is the frontman in the genre-mashing prog-rock band Venōma.
