Music Compound offers summer music camps for families near Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch and Bradenton where students might come nervous but then make friends and take the stage!

Kids can explore new or familiar instruments, songwriting, music production, and join a bands and nurturing creativity. Give kids a summer they’ll love! Bonus: Every week ends with a live performance for family and friends.

Here's A Summer Camp Overview:
Music Compound’s music camps are offered over 8 weeks during the summer. Our team offers the same program in each 4-week cycle to ensure you’re in town for your preferred camps. Instructors and songs may vary.
All camp sessions offer two to three instructors and an opportunity to learn three to five songs and perform at the end of the week. Performances are the last 30 minutes of the session on the last day.
Not sure which camp to select?
That’s exactly why we offer Intro to Music. Instead of asking your child to choose an instrument before they know what they enjoy, this camp gives them the opportunity to explore different musical experiences every day and discover what excites them.
The Intro to Music week allows your child to then select the instrument of their choice for following sessions because the following sessions are for a specific instrument or experience like music production.

Music Compound’s summer music camps serve families in Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton and surrounding communities. Therefore, summer music camps are conveniently hosted at our Sarasota studio at 775 Bell Road, located near Fruitville Road and I-75.
If you have never been to our location, we are excited to share our new, state-of-the-art facility and very own stage!
early and late drop are available daily.
We offer two early drop-off options. 8:30 – 9:00 am is complimentary. If you need it earlier, for $25 per week, you can drop off as early as 8:00AM. Late pick up is available too. 4-4:30 is complimentary. For $25, you can pick up anytime from 4:00 to 5:30PM. $25 per session. For example, all full-day campers needing extended care would pay an additional $50 per week.

Performance Master Class
Performance, vocals, and stage presence. Great for those auditioning for upcoming America’s Got Talent, The Voice, or School production.
Intro to Guitar & Ukulele
Learn to play guitar or ukulele!
Rock or Jazz Bands
Perfect for those wanting to form a band! Mixture of genres. Members will learn 5-7 songs and will perform for fans!
Musical Theater
Perfect for those wanting to sing and dance! Learn proper breathing techniques, tips, and tricks. Are you singing the right key? Let’s find out.
Drum Circle
Learn and play a variety of drums! We will prepare you for the drum circle. Great for all ages.
Songwriting
Great for those that have interest in learning how to write or completing a song. Songwriting class is where you will have the chance to put music to it too!
Music Production
Learn to make and match beats and produce your own music! 6th grade and up.
Keys to Piano
Full week of piano lessons. Campers will learn how to play or enhance piano skill, theory, compose and more!
Kids Rock Camp
Similar to our Kidz Rock Program. Campers will play instruments, theory games, and more!

Who are these camps for?
Music Compound Summer Camps are designed for children and teens living near the Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch and Bradenton areas, in grades 1–12, including complete beginners, kids who already play an instrument, and experienced young musicians looking for a more advanced music experience.
For younger musicians

Grades 1–5: $200 per half-day session
Grades 6–12: $275 per half-day session

What’s the refund policy?
Must cancel 7 days prior to the first day of camp to receive full refund. 50% offered 4 days prior, Thursday.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
Enter your child’s name in ticket information. We pre-print name tags and check-in lists.
Lunch & Snacks?
Lunch break is on site from 12-1pm between sessions. Every student registered for a full day will bring a packed lunch.
Snack and free time are allocated 30 minutes for each morning and afternoon camp session. If your child has any dietary needs, please send them with a snack.
Doesn’t my child need any experience?
No previous musical experience is required for our beginner-friendly camps. Kids can come to Music Compound simply because they love music and want to try something new. Our instructors meet campers where they are, whether they’re picking up an instrument for the first time or have been playing for years.
