Mary is a Piano instructor with a focus on jazz and improvisation. Mary’s students build a strong foundation, Mary’s lessons are very theory-based, and may be considered more traditional. She has been with Music Compound since March of 2016. She works at the Cattlemen studio 5 days a week and works with all ages.

Qualifications:

A highly skilled musician who makes the lesson experience fun, satisfying, and rewarding. Mature, caring, encouraging, calm, patient, gentle, reassuring, and good-natured. Works with students’ interests to achieve goals. She enjoys working with all ages and is Trilingual (Spanish, Portuguese, and English)

Education:

BA in Linguistics, Univerity of Colorado

Scholarship recipient to study abroad in Brazil.
