Worship Jam Lab
In this exciting 6-week clinic, students will develop practical skills for thriving in a worship band environment while growing in confidence, musicianship, teamwork, and leadership. For ages 11-18.
Through hands-on experience and collaborative learning, participants will learn how to support a band, communicate effectively, and lead with excellence both on and off the stage.
Topics include:
Foundations of playing in a worship band
Reading chord charts and navigating song forms
Playing confidently with a click track
Following a worship leader and responding to cues
Understanding dynamics, transitions, and musical space
Learning how each instrument fits in the mix
Rehearsal etiquette and communication skills
Practice strategies to improve faster at home
Developing consistency, confidence, and musical awareness
